Butternut Bourbon Sidecar

Have leftover steamed butternut from dinner last night? Think outside the box with this fun take on a sidecar! 
  • 1 1/2 ounces bourbon

  • 1 1/2 ounces butternut squash puree

  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup

  • 1/4 ounce orange liqueur (such as Cointreau)

  • 1/4 ounce fresh lime juice

 

  1. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker, add ice and shake vigorously.

  2. Double-strain into a glass over fresh ice.

  3. Garnish with an orange rind or dusting of nutmeg and enjoy!
