Proud Purveyors of Pumpkins With Personality
Founders Michele Youngquist and Liz Mitchell started Bay Baby Produce in 1999, thanks to a patch of dirt and a fun dream of sending pumpkins with a little bit of personality all across the country.
More than 25 years later, our signature hand decorated Pumpkin Patch Pals, with festive hats and feathery hair designed by Michele Youngquist and Liz Mitchell, adorn millions of tables, porches, and mantles every fall. Though Liz passed away in 2012, the festive Pumpkin Patch Pals that were inspired by her passion for elementary education carry her spirit with them across the U.S. each fall.
Today, Bay Baby Produce is proudly family-owned. Thanks to the large-scale farming expertise of Nate Youngquist, Michele’s son, that once-small patch of dirt has turned into 800 thriving acres across Washington’s Skagit Valley.
From seed to sprout to your doorstep, we proudly represent sustainable farming and the rich agricultural legacy of the Pacific Northwest.
